STAFFORD DISABLED BY A LOCKER BUILDING INJURY

By a peculiar twist of fate A. H. Stafford '26, University quarterback, who has played all season without a suspicion of an injury, was painfully hurt Monday afternoon in the Locker Building, when a heavy bench fell upon his toes.

The injury, which was due to the carelessness of another member of the squad, did not prevent Stafford from practicing Monday, but yesterday he appeared with a cane and joined the overflowing doctor's squad. No bones are broken, and Dr. Richards expects him to be able to play Saturday.
