Hanover, N. H. October 21, 1924. In the first strenuous practice since the Yale game the Varsity went through a hard signal drill and a long dummy scrimmage against the scrubs who used Harvard plays. There were two important shifts in the line-up of team A, Fallon replacing Dooley at quarterback and Holleran taking Goldstein's place at left tackle.

The attention of the coaches was focused on teams B and C, which went through a long scrimmage session against each other. Team B took the offensive the entire afternoon. An effort is being made to uncover some reliable substitute material, to fill the lack which was keenly felt Saturday.

Radical Shakeup In Squad

Allen, who played tackle for his first time on team B, made an impressive showing. Straight and Cubbins were shifted from end and guard positions to tackles on team C, and were fighting in every play for the position left open on the seconds when Wallace was dropped from the squad yesterday as a result of breaking training on the Yale trip.

Team B showed a strong offense with Reeder. Robinson and Starrett, carrying the ball. Goldstein and Dooley spent the afternoon following team A, but were not used in the line-up. The men on team A were; ends, Tully and Bjorkman; tackles, Holleran and Parker; guards, Diehl and Smith; center, Whitaker; quarterback, Fallon; backs, Hall, Oberlander and Leavitt. Team B was made up of the following men; ends, Sage and Emerson; tackles, Allen and Hardy; guards, Prescott and Sweetser; center, Montgomery; quarterback, Stevens; backs, Reeder, Robinson, and Starrett.
