A single bugle will sound in the Smith Halls Quadrangle today at 1.40 o'clock. It is the signal for all Freshmen to gather for the rally. W. J. Bingham '16 will make a short speech and then the University Band will march through the Quadrangle from East to West.
The class will follow the Band to Soldiers Field through Gate 2, then around behind the wooden stands and onto the field through the West entrance and across the field to their seats in section 35. During the procession football songs will be sung.
This rally, the first of its kind in the history of the University, is designed to stimulate class spirit and unity.
