Seventy men were present yesterday afternoon when Eduardo Sanchez '26, president of the Dramatic Club, read the play selected for the Club's fall production in the Paine Hall Concert Room of the Music Building.
The play, "Pedro--the King", is written in an introduction and two acts, and contains 18 characters. The action takes place in the 14th century, and centers around the King of Castile.
The competitions in the various departments have not yet closed, and canidates are still reporting for the stage, the acting, the publicity, the business, the art, and the subscription departments at the club headquarters at 68 Mt. Auburn.
The first of the acting trials was held last night at 7' o'clock in the Paine Hall Concert Room, and there will be two other trials in the same room today, one at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and the other at 7 o'clock this evening.
