A four to one majority in favor of the Bok Peace Plan was indicated last night at the end of the first three days of voting in the six day referendum now being conducted by the CRIMSON to determine the sentiment of the University on the prize winning peace plan.
Over 750 votes had been cast by 6 o'clock last night at the eight polling boxes located at central points in the University. Of these, 601 votes were in favor of the plan, and 154 against it.
Although the negative voters were hopelessly outnumbered, they were none the less emphatic in their opposition to the plan. The negative ballots were marked with large crosses, exclamation points, and indignant comments, such as "This is a dead issue!", "America's Peace lies in a strong army and navy," and "To pay $100, 000 for this plan was a bad bargain."
Voting will be continued throughout the University until 4 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon.
