CRIMSON FENCERS TOO QUICK FOR TECHNOLOGY

TEAM MEETS YALE IN NEW HAVEN ON SATURDAY

Losing only one match in the foils and one in the duelling swords, the University fencing team overwhelmed M. I. T. by the scores of 8-1 and 3-1 respectively Saturday afternoon on the main floor of the Hemenway gymnasium. This match was the last before the Yale meet next Saturday at New Haven. Captain E. H. Lane '24 again secured a record of three victories and no defeats:

Lane '24 defeated Walker (T), 7-2; Roland Fleer '24 defeated Walker (T), 7-4; Roland Fleer '24 defeated Elkins (T), 7-4; G. S. Sharp '24 defeated Fennie (T), 7-1; Elkins (T) defeated Lendon Snedeker '25, 7-4.

Duelling Swords.--Blake (T) defeated C. J. Shearn '23, 1-0; C. J. Shearn '23 defeated Stolte (T), 1-0; J. K. Watson '23 defeated Blake (T), 1-0; J. K. Watson '23 defeated Stolte (T), 1-0.
