The competitions for designs for the Class Day tickets and for the words to the Baccalaureate Hymn will close on Saturday, March 17. All Seniors with ability along these lines are urgently requested by the Class Day Committee to enter the competition immediately.
The drawings for the tickets should be distinct, according to the requirements of the committee, so that the reproduction of them will be clear, and the design should be in keeping with the ticket in question. The Memorial tickets, for example, should in general have on them some design of Memorial Hall, and the Yard tickets some object associated with the Yard. All designs should be done on white paper in black India ink, and should be four and one-half by seven and one-half inches in size. The designs must, bear the following words respectively:
Yard Tickets.--"Harvard Class Day 1923. Admit one to the Yard. 2-11 P. M. June 19".
Stadium Tickets.--"Harvard Class Day 1923. Stadium Exercises 4 P. M. June 19."
Memorial Tickets.--"Harvard Class Day 1923. Admit one to Memorial Hall and Gymnasium. 8-11 P. M. June 19".
Words for the Hymn should be set to some familiar tune such as "Integer Vitae", "Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand", or "Rock of Ages".
Any competitor who wishes more information should communicate with Russell Robb Jr. '23, Grays 23, at once, it was announced by the committee. Free Class Day tickets will be given to the winners.
