Six new trees are being sought by Superintendent of Grounds W. P. Herlihey, to be placed in the Yard. Two of these will be placed between Massachusetts and Harvard Halls near the Johnson Gate; a third between University Hall and Appleton Chapel; and the remaining three in front of University Hall.
The trees are to be elms, about thirty years of age, the average diameter being 8 or 10 inches. Superintendent Herlihey is looking for suitable trees in Blue Hills but it will be on toward summer before the trees have been transplanted.
