Dr. Michael J. Rostovtzeff, professor in the University of Wisconsin, will give the fourth of his series of lectures on "The Social and Economic Development of the Roman Empire," under the auspices of the Lowell Institute in Huntington Hall at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
The special topic of Dr. Rostovtzeff's address today will be "The Country, Agriculture and Landholding."
