An informal squash racquets team, composed mainly of players from the University Team A will go to New York next Saturday and Sunday, where it will meet the Tennis and Racquet Club team and an informal team from Yale. The team will consist of W. P. Dixon '25, E. M. Hinkle '23, Carroll Harrington '24, and A. L. Smith '25, from Team A and J. J. Glessner '25 from Team B. Both the matches will be played at the Tennis and Racquet Club courts.

The informal squash racquets team from Yale marks the start of the game in that University. Since the team has not played any outside matches, its strength is unknown. L. E. Williams, the Tennis Captain, is number one and Captain of the team. The Racquet and Tennis Club team is one of the strongest in New York.

With a draw of 50 men, the University Squash Racquets tournament will start today at the University Squash Racquets Courts. This tournament, held annually for the championship of the University, is the last and most important of the tournaments held during the year. Channing Wakefield 2L., who won the fall tournament, and Dixon, the College champion, are favored to come through to the finals. Besides Wakefield and Dixon, Hinkle, Harrington, Smith, F. I. Carpenter '24, Lawrence Foster 2L., and M. E. Gibson 3L. were seeded in the draw. All the matches in the last three rounds will be played in courts 7 and 14 and will be three out of five games. The first round is expected to be finished by Friday, February 16.

The matches in the Law, Engineering, Graduate, and Business School tournaments, which were held up during the Mid-Year Examination period, have lately progressed rapidly and will be finished by the early part of next week. In the Engineering School tournament, Wolcott Fuller 4 E.S. has reached the finals, while in the other half B. R. Taylor 1E.S. and M. S. Bromwell 2E.S. have reached the finals. The Freshman tournament has reached the third round with P. R. Pease, G. D. Debevoise and T. W. Allen the outstanding contenders.
