FRESHMEN BATTLE ST. PAUL'S TO SCORELESS TIE

Bradford and Kanfman, Opposing Goal Guards, Bear Brunt of Conflict in Stopping Many Shots--Overtime Periods of No Avail to Break Deadlock

The Freshman hockey team's string of seven straight victories was broken Saturday at Concord, N. H. when St. Paul's School played the Freshmen to a scoreless tie. The game lasted for 56 minutes, including two 5 minute overtime periods, and was only stopped because the Freshmen had to catch a train.

The whole game was a battle between the opposing goals. Bradford for the Freshmen and Kaufman for the schoolboys. Both men put up a perfect defense, and each stopped well over 50 shots.
