According to a moderately well authorized rumor a plan for the reduction of the price of tickets to students for the "big three" football games has been suggested by the board of control of the Yale University Athletic Association in their December meeting. No decision will come for some time but in the meanwhile Professor Clarence W. Mendell, chairman of the board, will take up the matter with the Princeton and Harvard authorities.
Under the proposed plan, tickets would be issued to students for a nominal sum to cover the games played at home including those for which seats are now reserved.
Mr. Thomas J. Campbell '12 of the Harvard Athletic Association when questioned regarding the report expressed surprise at the project and said that no such plans had been made by the Harvard authorities.
