Telegraphic rifle matches will enable the University rifle team to shoot against 17 opponents during the coming winter and spring, according to the 1924 schedule, recently approved by the Committee on Athletics. This represents a large increase over the number of matches scheduled in past years.

Before the telegraphic system was inaugurated, the team was limited to a small number of matches with local opponents. Last year, even with the telegraphic system in use, the team competed against but 11 opponents. The majority of the matches are for the intercollegiate league, but Syracuse, the University of Maine, and the University of California also figure in the schedule.

The Freshman schedule has also grown, there being nine meets on this year's card, as compared with seven last year. Both University and Freshman schedules are given in full below:
