Three and one half tons of magazines is but one of many items in a long list of collections made in the recent Phillips Brooks House Clothing Drive, according to the inventory just completed.
Among the organizations to which will be sent some of the articles obtained in the recent drive are Robert College of Constantinople, The Cambridge Welfare Union, the Morgan Memorial, and the Salvation Army. Some contributions will also be sent to the Students Aid Association which is distributing clothing to students in Germany and some to the American Red Cross which is still working in Russia and Japan.
The three and one half tons of magazines will be given to men in the United States Merchant Marine service and will be sent to various homes and hospitals such as that at Charlestown.
Among other articles contributed in the drive are 62 overcoats, 60 odd shoes and 125 trousers. Also one graphophone, seven pairs of rubbers and an even half thousand articles of underwear.
