DIXON AND FOSTER WILL PLAY OFF SQUASH FINALS

MATCH WILL NOT BE PLAYED UNTIL FRIDAY

W. P. Dixon '25 will play Lawrence Foster 3L. for the University squash championship next Friday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in the University Squash Courts Building. Coach Harry Cowles will referee the match.

Dixon enters the finals of the tournament as a result of his defeat yesterday of Caroll Harrington '24 in straight sets, 15-12, 18-16, 15-13. In this match Dixon had control of the situation the entire time, although Harrington kept him on the alert, and forced him to his best game.

Foster, the other contestant for the University title, came through the semi-finals victorious over Channing Wake field 3L., who was the University champion last season. Foster also won in straight sets, 18-15, 18-16, 15-7.

The winner of Friday's match will receive a gold medal and the runner-up will be presented with a silver medal.

The next important squash tournament, open only to undergraduates, will not begin until the day after the close of the Christmas vacation. This will be followed on January 26 by the State championship tournament, which will be played this year in the University Squash Courts Building. There will be, however, several local tournaments during December.
