The coming week is crowded with musical attractions of one sort or another.
This afternoon, in Jordan Hall, Mieczyslow Munz, Polish Pianist, will play.
Tomorrow afternoon, Sunday November 18, the Symphony Orchestra will give a concert for the benefit of its Pension Fund. Mme. Matzenauer will assist it in an all-Wagner program.
Tomorrow evening, the Ukranian National Chorus, under the direction of Alexander Koshetz, will sing in Symphony Hall. They are no strangers to Boston, and will find a cordial public.
Tuesday evening the same chorus will sing in Sanders Theatre.
Tuesday evening, in Jordan Hall, George Smith, pianist, will play an all-Chopin program.
Wednesday evening the admirable and familiar London String Quartet will play, in Jordan Hall, a program including Quartets by Mozart and Debussy, and the "Pixy Ring" by Mr. Warner, the violist.
Thursday evening, Miss Harriot Hemenway will sing, in Steinert Hall, a varied program.
Thursday evening, Mme. Delcourt, harpist in the Boston Symphony orchestra, will share with John Barnes Wells, tenor, a concert in Jordan Hall.
Friday afternoon and Saturday evening the Boston Symphony Orchestra will play a program including Mahler's first symphony, a suite "Pelleas et Melisande" by Faure, and pieces by Vaughan Williams and Borodin.
The Week's program of the San Carlo Opera Company at the Opera House is as follows: Sunday, November 25, Mr. Rachmaninov will play a sonata-less program, at the Opera House. The same afternoon Mme. Onegin, widely admired contraito of the Metropolitan Opera will sing in Symphony Hal. Wednesday afternoon, November 28, Mr. de Pachman, having established himself as the funniest pianist alive in his recent "farewell" tour will return to Symphony Hall. Saturday afternoon, December 8, Percy Grainger, famous pianist, but well-nigh a stranger to Boston, will play in Jordan Hall.
