SEEDLING FROM WASHINGTON ELM NOW GROWING IN YARD

A seedling from the Washington Elm which was recently removed by city officials, is now among the elms growing in the College Yard, it was learned yesterday from Mr. W. S. Burke, inspector of University grounds and buildings. The seedling was given to the University in 1916 by Mr. Leonard W. Ross of the park department of the city of Boston, and it is now growing in the large plot of grass between the steps of Widener and University Hall.
