CLASS OF 1926 WILL CAST VOTE TODAY

Sophomores Will Act on Abolition of Clause Requiring 60 Percent of Class to vote for Valid Election

Over 750 postal ballots were mailed last night to members of the Sophomore class for election of class officers.

All the ballots must be marked and returned in the addressed envelope which is included with them, to Thayer Cummings '26, chairman of the Sophomore election committee at 77 Mt. Auburn Street before midnight tomorrow. Provided that 60 percent of the class has voted by that time, the elections will be announced Wednesday morning. Otherwise it will be necessary to prolong the voting until the necessary number of voters has been obtained.

This prolonged voting, which has long been a source of inconvenience and delay in class elections, may be abolished before next year's elections, it is hoped by members of the Election Committee. The Executive Committee of the Student Council has already suggested that Section 10 of Article III in the Constitution 60 percent of any Sophomore class, must participate in the elections to Make them valid, be annulled. This recommendation of the Student Council has been-placed on the 1926 ballots in referendum form.

For any members of the class of 1926 who for any reason fail to receive their ballots by this evening, the election committee has announced that additional ballots and un addressed envelopes may be obtained at the CRIMSON office.
