It will be a well shaken-up and depleted University crew squad of three boats and two substitutes which will row on the Charles this afternoon, having successfully run the gauntlet of the last fall cut by Coach Stevens.
In making the cut Stevens has definitely arranged them in the ranking order of Crews A, B, and C. These crews will comprise the University rowing squad for the remainder of the fall season although men may be shifted from time to time from one boat to another and some few may be dropped or promoted from the class crews at the discretion of the coach.
S. N. Brown '24 who has been stroking the first boat changed places with B. F. Rice-Bassett '25 former B crew stroke. G. S. Mumford '25 who started the season as stroke of B is now rowing number 2 in that boat. C. H. Hollister Jr. '24 has been shifted from 3 on the first to the same seat in the second eight, A. B. Cassedy '25 taking his place on the first lineup.
