CRITICS SAY NEW TACKLE MAY BE YALE'S WONDER MAN

Century Milstead, Yale's giant tackle, who transferred from Wabash College last fall, played on a Yale team for the first time in Saturday's game with Georgia, and gave what is said to have been "the finest exhibition of tackle playing that has been seen in the Yale bowl in years."

Milstead was in practically every play, blocking the Georgia attack before it started, tackling runners from behind, getting down the field under kicks as fast as the ends, and opening great holes for his backs. Although he played through almost the entire game, he retired late in the fourth period as fresh as he had been in the first.

Last year, while ineligible, Milstead kept in condition by scrimmaging on the second team and stoking the fires in the boiler room of the Hotel Taft.
