GYMNASTS' ASSOCIATION MEETS IN NEW YORK

Decides to Hold Intercollegiates March 23 at Annapolis--Also Votes to Try Out Rope-Climbing as Event in Meets This Year

At the meeting of the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Gymnasts of America, held at the New York Athletic Club in New York City on Saturday afternoon, it was decided to hold the Intercollegiates on March 23, at the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis. The University was represented at the meeting by G. C. Eaton '23, manager of the University gym team.

The Association voted that rope climbing be added unofficially to the events in dual meets this winter, taking the place of club swinging, which has been dropped. The scoring results in the rope climbing event will not count in the final total.

The schedule of meets for members of the Association was drawn up at the meeting but the list of the University's meets will not be announced until ratified by the Athletic Committee. The initial meet will come after the mid-year examination period.
