The use of a clear-cut and convincing argument is essential when before the far, Judge Learned Hand '93 stated last night before a meeting of the Law School Society at Phillips Brooks House. Judge and, who has been United States District judge of the Southern District of New York since 1909, acted as a Justice in the finals of the Ames Law School competition last Friday evening.
Judge Hand emphasized the fact that one of the faults in the practice of law, specially in large cities, is that the real plains of the legal profession do not get to court. They should, because much the originality and execution of law spends upon the Bar, and the Bench is in pendent on the Bar for almost everything.
