Fall crew work will begin today when a squad of 19 oarsmen and two coxswains will report to Coach Muller and Captain A. H. Ladd Jr. '23. The oarsmen who have been asked to report are: Walter Amory '24; S. N. Brown '24; W. A. Coolidge '24; W. M. Farleigh '25; H. H. Fuller Jr. '23; Parker Hamilton '24; B. McK. Henry '24; A. L. Hobson Jr. '24; D. S. Holder '24; C. H. Hollister Jr. '24; J. D. Jameson '24; S. B. Kelley '25; A. H. Ladd Jr. '23; M. W. McGreevy '24; H. S. Morgan '23; B. F. Rice-Bassett '25; R. C. Storey Jr. '24; N. C. Webb '23 and H. J. Weisman '25. At the meeting general plans for the fall will be outlined and two crews will be picked, a number of the men who are expected to report will not be able to row.

Tomorrow all University candidates except those on the picked crews will report at 4.45 at Newell boathouse. As in former years, Coach Brown will have charge of these eights. Freshman rowing, which will be under the direction of Coach Herbert Haines, will get under way Friday night at a meeting of all candidates in Smith Halls Common Room at 5.30 o'clock.

The Sophomore competition for the second assistant crew managership will begin tomorrow, instead of today as previously announced, with a meeting for all candidates in Grays 26 at 1.05. The competition is open to all members of the Sophomore class and will last about ten weeks. The winner of the competition automatically becomes manager in his Senior year. A competition for three fall Freshman Dormitory managerships will begin at the same time. At the end of eight weeks three men will be picked and medals awarded to each one.
