The visiting grapplers in the preliminary bouts of the New England intercollegiate championships at Hemenway last evening proved clearly superior to the Crimson wrestlers, the latter gaining only two decisions in the seven classes while the visitors each won a point apiece on falls, and Brown placed six men in the championship finals, Technology four, and Dartmouth two.
Benoni Lockwood '22 in the unlimited class and Francis Rouillard '23 in the 175-pound class were two University wrestlers who won their bouts, Rouillard by a time decision of 42 second in an extra period over Kennett of Technology.
The pairings for today's bouts which will be held at Hemenway Gymnasium at 3 o'clock follow:

125-Pound Class.--Tuttle (T) vs. Cox (B).
135-Pound Class.--Dustin 9B) vs. Weatherly (T).

175-Pound Class.--Eckstein (B) vs. Rouillard (H).
Unlimited Class.--Imlay (B) vs. Lockwood (H).
The pairings of the runner-up bouts can not be determined until after the championship bouts. The loser in each of those bouts wresting the man in his class whom he did not meet yesterday.
