Professor Mile F. Gautier, Professor of Geography at the University of Algiers, and French Exchange Professor to the University will speak in French on "What is the near East", at 4:30 o'clock that afternoon in the Lecture room of Fogg Museum. This is the first of series of seven free lectures dealing with the Near East open to the public given on Wednesday afternoons.
