FRESHMAN ELECTIONS AT STANDISH AND '77 GATE FROM 8 TO 6 O'CLOCK

ANNOUNCE POLL-WATCHERS AND BALLOT-COUNTERS

Elections of Freshman class officers will be held today from 8 to 6 o'clock In the Morning and until 1 o'clock, the voting will take place only at the Class of 77 Gate at the Massachusetts avenue entrance to the Widener Library, while in the afternoon polls will be stationed only in the Standish Hall Common Room. The complete list of nominees follows:

Gardiner Cowles Jr. of Des Moines, Ia., one of the nominees for Secretary Treasurer, has resigned, and his resignation has been accepted by the Student Council Committee on Freshman affairs.

The counting committee, consisting of H. A. LaFarge '24, Chairman, R. P. Bullard '24, C. C. Colt '24, F. S. hill '24, J. C. Lamont '24, and F. A. O. Schwarz '24 will meet at 6.30 o'clock this afternoon in Randolph breakfast Room. It is expected that all the above-mentioned men will be on time, as the work is of the utmost importance.

According to Article III, Section 10, in the constitution of the three lower classes, 60 percent or more of the members of the class must vote before and election of class officers is declared valid.

The Student Council Committee on Freshman Affairs has appointed the following Sophomores to watch at the polls today:

The above men are responsible for their assigned period, and if unable to serve at the time indicated must get someone to take their place. The men assigned to the first hour will find the ballots in the ballot box at the '77 Gate.
