Coach Claflin gave his University hockey men a complete lay-off yesterday after the taxing game with Dartmouth Wednesday night. This afternoon the Crimson will go through its final practice before the Princeton contest tomorrow evening at the Arena.
If the University men show the same style of hockey tomorrow that they did against the Green, they should be able to turn back any offence play that the Tigers may put forward. Against Dartmouth the Crimson played the best game of its season with the possible exception of that against the Westminster team. Coach Claflin is very much encouraged over the outlook for tomorrow's struggle and the final tussle with the Flis a week from tomorrow.
In this afternoon's practice Coach Claflin will lay special stress on the work in the immediate vicinity of the enemy's net. The sharp, direct pass from directly behind the goal to a waiting man in front has been becoming more and more effective as a means of scoring. This will be emphasized in today's work-out.
Coach Claflin will start the same team as usual tomorrow night. The Crimson men are all in good condition and should be able to cope with any sort of game that the Princeton team can offer.
