TO TRY OUT EXPERIMENT IN INTERDORMITORY ATHLETICS

Standish, Winner of Hockey Series, Will Fane Stone School on Charlesbank Rinks Tomorrow

An experiment is being tried out this year in an effort to create a greater interest in the future in regard to dormitory athletics. For the first time the winner of the inter-dormitory hockey series will play an outside school, and as Standish Hall has already won enough games to win the championship whatever the outcome of the remaining two games, her team will start the experiment when she faces Stone School on the Charlesbank Rinks tomorrow afternoon.

The series so far has been exceptionally close, as the Standish six, though it has won four contests, has only been victorious by a 2-1 score in three of her triumphs. The Standish team-work has necessarily been handicapped by a lack of practice, but as good a team has been developed as could be expected under the circumstances. P. F. Pond '25, who captains the winning sextet has been a potent factor in keeping down the scoring of his opponents, while he has been assisted on the forward line by E. F. Wright '25. The latter, however, will be unable to line up against the Stone combination.
