Taking "The Rich Art of the Wood-Engraver" as his subject, Mr. Frank Weitenkampf, chief of the art and print division of the New York Public Library, spoke yesterday afternoon at the Fogg Art Museum.
In his lecture, which was profusely illustrated with lantern slides, Mr. Weitenkampf traced the development of wood-engraving from the Middle Ages to modern times and showed the variety of work for which the wood cut may be used.
