It has been announced by the hockey management that the University sextet will oppose the Boston Hockey Club team tomorrow evening at the Arena, thus filling one of the vacant dates on the Crimson schedule. The Boston Hockey Club is almost entirely composed of former University players, and is coached by Mr. Alfred Winsor '02, former head coach and now advisory coach of the University team. Among the former Crimson players now with the Boston Hockey Club are Mr. E. A. Bigelow '18, Mr. A. H. Bright '19, Mr. A. F. Doty '16, and Mr. G. A. Percy '18. This team, although it has not yet played any games, has shown great strength in practice scrimmages against the University squad.
The Crimson skaters prepared today for this contest in a half-hour scrimmage against Coach Winsor's men. The University players caged the puck once, for the only score of the session.
Owen Out of Line-Up
Captain George Owen Jr. '23, and E. M. Beals '25, who was injured in the contest last Wednesday against Boston University, did not take part in the scrimmage. The University lined up with Walker, Hill, and Larocque in the forward line; Crosby and Graves in the defence positions, and Bigelow in the goal. Among the first substitutions to be made yesterday afternoon were W. M. Austin '25 and G. C. Guild '23 in the forward line, and P. W. Chase '25 in the defense. The University coaches have not yet announced what the line-up will be for the Hockey Club contest.
The management has announced that there are a great many season tickets still to be sold. It is desirable that all these seats be sold so that a large cheering section can be organized.
