STAGE "LIFE OF MAN" IN BRATTLE HALL TONIGHT

First Performance of Andreyev's Play to be Given by Dramatic Club This Evening at 8.10--Other Performances Later in Week

At 8.10 this evening, the Dramatic Club will give its first performance of Leonid Andreyev's "The Life of Man" at Brattle Hall. This will be the first time that the play has been publicly presented in America.

The scenery has been designed by D. M. Oenslager '23 and will be indicative of the various moods through which the play progresses. Donald Stralem '25 has supervised the erection of the cantilever bridge for directing the lights. This will completely do away with the use of footlights. The music composed by Conrad Salinger '23 will be played before each scene and will prepare the audience for the general atmosphere of what is to follow.

Further performances of the play will be given at Brattle Hall on the evenings of December 14 and 18, while a single performance will take place this Friday at the Hollis Theatre.
