"The Life of Man," the new Dramatic Club play by Leonid Andreyev, will be given for the first time tomorrow evening at 8.10 o'clock at Brattle Hall. Further performances will be given at the same place on the evenings of December 14 and 18, and a single performance will be given on Friday afternoon. December 15, at the Hollis Theatre.
The scenery, the work of D. M. Oenslager '23, has been arranged after the manner of the expressionistic stage and will attempt to depict the various moods through which the play progresses. The lighting system that will be used was devised by Donald Stralem '24. Music for the play has been composed by Conrad Salinger '23, and this, like the scenery, is intended to interpret the varying moods of the play.
The two miracle plays, which are also to be given under the auspices of the Dramatic Club, will take place on December 20 and 21, and not on December 19 and 20 as previously announced.
