Speaking before the Liberal Club last night, Mr. Kenneth Lindsay, President of the Oxford Union, traced the development of the labor movement in England, from its early growth and development up to the present time.
"Labor education converted various uncoordinated movements and trade unions into one comprehensive movement with a definite political program", he declared. "The basis of the party is the alliance between labor and learning, expert and experience.
This noon at luncheon Mr. H. C. Maserve, Secretary of the New England Cotton Manufacturers Association, will address the Club on the "New England Textile Strike".
