The Business School Club held its first smoker of the year yesterday evening at the Harvard Union. Miss Louise Alice Williams of Atlanta, Ga., gave impersonations and cabin stories typical of the old Southern negro, interspersed with several selections by the Business School. Club quartet and orchestra. Mr. Whiting Williams, who began his series of lectures on the labor question at the School on October 24 and continues till next week, delivered a short address. He advised men who wanted to get a really unbiased view of the labor problem to investigate for themselves by working "incognito", and mentioned episodes from his own personal experience in working his way through Europe.
Reports of the various chairmen of committees were made and recently elected officers of the club introduced to members.
