With Thanks

To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

The University Band desires to take this opportunity to thank the student body for its financial and moral support. Nothing has helped us so much this year as the overwhelming and sincere interest and good wishes that have been apparent as they have never been before. Every man in the Bank who went to New Haven--and the entire personnel made the journey--has taken great pride in doing his very best behind his instrument for this reason.

I feel justified in saying that the singing at the games has never been better. Much credit is due to G. D. Whidden '23, whose efforts have succeeded in producing from the stands the immense volume that goes so far toward making the kind of glory that was Harvard's at the Eli Bowl on Saturday last. ADDISON SIMMONS '24 President,   The Harvard University Band November 26, 1922.
