SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO RENDER CONCERT SERIES

Nine Dates, Ranging From October to May, on Schedule--M. Pierre Monteux Is Again Leader--Assisting Artists Present Talented Group

Renewing the series of concerts which have proved so successful in the past few years Mr. Monteux and the Boston Symphony Orchestra will appear again this fall in nine concerts at Cambridge, ranging from October into May.

These concerts will be given in Sanders Theatre on Thursday evenings as follows: October 19, November 16, December 7, January 11, February 8, March 1, March 22, April 12, May 3. As usual there will be an assisting artist at all the concerts but the last. Thus on October 19 Madeleine d'Espinoz Colonine, soprano, will sing; on November 16 comes Miss Ippolito, the violinist; on December 7, Mme. Lameroff from the "assisting artists" for Boston; on January 11, Mr. Schroeder, the violincellist from the band; and so in order: Miss Roberts, contralto; Mr. Casella, composer and pianist; Mme. Ferrabini-Jacchia; and finally Miss Church, pianist, on April 12.

As last year, subscriptions to the concerts may be renewed at the University Book Store through Saturday, October 7. New subscriptions will be taken beginning October 14.
