HANDICAP MEET MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL END FALL TRACK PRACTICE

LAST OPPORTUNITY TO SIGN BLUE BOOKS TODAY

The fall track season will be brought to a close with the annual fall handicap track and field meet Monday and Tuesday. Medals for first, second, and third places will be awarded by the H. A. A.

Monday's schedule calls for the field events, beginning with the high-jump promptly at three o'clock. The other field events will be run off in the following order: pole-vault, broad-jump, and javelin throw.

Tuesday's track events will be as follows: 100-yard dash, 440-yard run, 880-yard run, 120-yard low hurdles, one mile run, and three mile run.

Practice on Soldiers Field has been intensified this week, as Coaches Bingham and Farrell are anxious to work their men up to top form for the fall meet. Coach Mikkola has been getting especially encouraging results from his javelin men.

Tuesday's distance runs should prove unusually intersting, as Coach Farrell has decided to run his best University harriers in the three-mile and Freshmen in the one-mile runs.
