EIGHT CLUBS QUALIFY FOR AMES COMPETITION

Will Argue in Finals of Second Year Rounds on February 8 and 9--Kent Club to Meet Warren Club in Third Year Finals on Friday

As a result of the four elimination rounds in the second year inter-club series of the Ames Competition the following clubs have qualified: Parsons, Holmes, Kent-Marshall, Scott, James Bryce, Mansfield-Warren, Taft and Ames-Gray.

The following is the standing of the winning clubs as a result of the elimination competition which ended last week:

The eight leading clubs will each argue one case in the finals of the second year round to be held February 8 and 9, and the four winners will compete in the semi-finals of the Ames Competition next fall. Drawings for the competition have been made as follows: Taft vs. James Bryce and Mansfield-Warren vs. Scott on February S. Parsons vs. Holmes and Ames-Gray vs. Kent Marshall on February 9. No man may argue in this final round of the second year competition unless he has argued in one of the four elimination rounds representing the same club he represents in the final round.

In the third year courts the contest has passed through the semi-final stage. The final round, in which the Kent Club will argue against the Warren Club, will be held on Friday, January 18, at 8 o'clock, in the main centre lecture room of Langdell Hall. Club  Points  Pct.
