JIMMIE LONDOS DEMONSTRATES HOLDS FOR CRIMSON WRESTLERS

Challenger for Light-Heavyweight Title Stages Ten-Minute Bout with Coach Jedlinski at Hemenway

University wrestling practice was featured yesterday by the presence of Jimmie Londos, challenger for the world light heavyweight championship. Mr. Londos staged a ten-minute bout with Coach Jedlinski demonstrating various holds used in professional wrestling. It is Coach Jedlinski's policy to ask as many prominent wrestlers as can be obtained to look over the squad and to give practical demonstrations.

The first squad now consists of about 16 men, and it is from these grapplers that a team will be chosen to meet the Young Men's Christian Union next Friday evening on the main floor of the Hemenway Gymnasium. Friedman, who has been out with a bad arm will probably be ready for the mat by that date, while Lockwood, who was unable to wrestle in the team trials for lack of a partner, will be entered in the unlimited class.
