FIRST MEETINGS OF COURSES ANNOUNCED

All Students Required to Attend First Meetings--Rooms for Some Courses Changed From Those of Previous Announcements

All students are required to attend the first meetings of their courses, which will start today and tomorrow, except a few announced for a later date. The following assignment of rooms indicates the places and hours of first meetings in the courses of study offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and of the Engineering School. A detailed description of these courses is contained in the pamphlet entitled "Announcement of the Courses of Instruction," third edition, September, 1921, to be had in University 2, and in the pamphlet of the Engineering School to be had in Pierce 209 and 223. An asterisk after the number of a course indicates that undergraduates must have the consent or recommendation of the instructor in order to elect it.

Men are to consult the instructors concerning all courses of research for which no hours are stated. For courses offered under the Faculty of the Graduate School of Business Administration, reference is to be made to the printed schedule issued by that school. It is to be noted that these courses began yesterday. Students are to consult Professor H. L. Smyth in the Rotch Building concerning hours and rooms for mining courses; and Professor Sauveur in Pierce 114 concerning hours and rooms for metallurgy courses. Graduate students are to confer with instructors in charge of graduate courses.

The first meeting of English D will be held on Tuesday, October 4, Sever 35, 1.05 P. M.

The first meeting of Freshman Physical Training will be held today, September 29, New Lecture Hall, 1.05 P. M.

Changes in the meeting places of Economics 4a, English 41, Philosophy 3, and Psychology 15 should be noted.
