SECONDS WIN LAST TENNIS MATCH

Scrub Tennis Team Defeats Clark Netmen by Score of 4-3

In its last much of the season the University Second tennis team defeated the Clark University netmen by a 4-3 score, winning one of the doubles and three of the singles matches. The contest was played on the Divinity Courts yesterday afternoon. Victor Romain '22, playing number one for the Crimson, showed an excellent brand of tennis in winning from Uchiyama, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2, while LeRoy Frost '23 of the University scrubs was forced to the limit to beat Kuirtz in straight sets 9-7, 6-4.

The first of the doubles went to the Crimson players, J. M. Kleberg '22 and F. T. Pratt '22 by a 6-3, 7-5 score, but Wilson Palmer '23 and L. D. Hill '22 were defeated, 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 by Uchiyama and Tonaker of the Worcester team.
