According to the announcement of the Senior Picnic Committee, the class of 1921 will assemble at 9 o'clock Monday morning on the steps of Widener for the annual picnic. Members of the class will be allowed cuts for the day.
Idlewood Park in Wenham is the place the Committee has decided upon for the celebration, and the trip to Wenham will begin with a parade through the Yard to Brattle Square. From there, trucks will take the men to Idlewood Park where they will spend the rest of their day of festivity.
In order that no outsider may be let in on the privileges of the day, the Committee has adopted an official uniform without which no one will be allowed to accompany the party. This ruling is considered necessary to limit the celebration to members of the class. The outfit decided upon as a uniform will consist of a pair of white overalls, a black cap, and a pair of blue swimming tights for each man. These articles may be obtained at Holworthy 10 from 9 to 6 o'clock, and from 6.30 to 8 today for the small sum of $1.50. Today will be the last chance to procure the outfit.
The members of the Phi Beta Kappa baseball team which will meet Yale on May 30, has extended a challenge to my and every other such group which may wish to join in staging an exhibition baseball game for the amusement of the picnicers.
