DECLARES AVIATION BEHIND IN AMERICA

Professor E. P. Warner '16, Lecturing on Commercial Aviation, Says Support Of Press Is Necessary--Show More Interest in England

Speaking on "Commercial Aviation of the Present and Future" last night at Pierce Hall under the joint auspices of the University Engineering and Areonautical Societies, Professor E. P. Warner '16 of Technology declared that the outstanding need of commercial aviation in this country is the whole-hearted assistance of the press. "In England", said Professor Warner, "the daily papers devote a great deal of space in their editorial and news columns to aviation. In America we never read a word about the subject except when there is an accident. The good points of commercial aviation are not brought before the public, and until this is done the scheme will not be successful in the United States."
