The University roll of honor, as revised by the War Records office for publication, a volume of the University's military record, now contains the names of 369 Harvard men who lost their lives in the war.
Of these 369 men 164 were killed in action or died of wounds, 138 died of diocese, 38 were killed in airplane accidents or died as result of them, and 84 from other causes. The total number of Harvard men who served in the army and navy is now calculated to be about 11.000.
