ELI FOILSMEN EASILY WIN MEET WITH CRIMSON FENCERS

Captain Walker of Yale Wins All His Bouts Decisively--Each Team Captures Two Epee Contests

The University fencing team was decisively defeated 8 to 5 by Yale at New Haven on Saturday, due to its inability to win more than three of the nine bouts in the foils. Captain S. H. Ordway '21, J. S. Barss '22 and W. R. Brewster '22 were each able to win one match only to fail in all, their others, running up especially against the impenetrable defense of Walker, the Yale captain, who went through the entire match without losing a single bout.

In the epee bouts Captain Ordway was able to defeat both his opponents, but Burke Boyce '22 was unable to register a win.
