The irrepressible Kitty Doner introduces her brother and sister in a very clever singing and dancing act at Keith's this week. Appearing first as a New York dandy, Kitty brings down the house with her "pep" and originality; her next entry is with her brother, giving a sketch, "The Bowerie Tough," played by her father and mother twenty years ago. They sing, "Over on 8't Avenoo" with the most ludicrous pantomime imaginable; then, disappearing for a moment, Kitty startles everyone by her clever kicking and singing as "The Devil of the Dive."
The world famed naturalist, Ernest Thompson Seton, transforms the theatre into a forest for the moment by his moose calls and his tales of bear hunting. Craig Campbell, tenor, gives a few classical and popular ballads; Burt Gordon and Gene Ford contribute the familiar jackassieal singing lesson, and Ryan and Ryan perform a remarkable elog with shoes four feet long.
Jee Cook, the "One Man Vaudeville Show," lives up to his reputation by imitating in turn three "Hiwyans," "the world's greatest ventriloquist" and a magician.
