B. A. A. SCRIMMAGES UNIVERSITY SEXTET

Crimson Players Go Through Hard-Fought Practice Game on Fast Ice-Coach Clafin Continues Experimentation at Right Wing and Center

The University hockey squad held its own aginst the B. A. A. sextet yesterday afternoon in a 45-minute scrimmage on fast ice at the Arena. Team A lined up as on Wednesday, but Team B's personnel was different to a large extent.

The most important shift was the sending of Joseph Larocque Jr. '23 from center to right wing. Larocque gave a fine exhibition at his new post, showing more speed and aggressiveness than any of the other Crimson forwards. If, as seems likely, Coach Claflin keeps him at wing permanently it will be necessary to develop an able center man to substitute for J. M. Martin '22.

Nelson Cabot '24 was absent from practice yesterday on account of a lame back and on his return he may be tried at center. Yesterday Corliss Lamont '24 went in as second-string center, while C. W. Baker Jr. '22, the regular right wing, also tried the same position.
