At a luncheon yesterday at the Liberal Club, Mrs. Florence Kelly, General Secretary of the National Consumers' League, spoke briefly on disarmament and the work of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
The reception committee of the Club has been sending out invitations to people of prominence in educational, business, political, and artistic fields, to come and speak at the Club when they are in Boston. The number of acceptances which has been received already is sufficient to assure a complete program for the near future.
