A competition for the positions of assistant and second assistant manager of the University wrestling team and for the managership of the Freshman wrestling team will begin tomorrow morning at 8.30 o'clock with a meeting of candidates at the H. A. A. The competition will be open to members of the class of 1923 only. The competition for the second assistant managership is open to the class of 1924, and for the Freshman managership to 1925.
The competition will last six weeks. The duties of the candidates will consist in conducting practices periodically and in office work in connection with the schedule. In addition the leading candidates for the position of first assistant manager will be allowed to take the team on a trip.
Practice for the wrestling team will begin as soon as a new coach can be secured to take the place of Mr. Samuel Anderson whose contract has expired.
