EXTEND WORKSHOP CONTEST

Competition for Sortings and Costumes for "Pastora Impera" to End Dec. 7--Copies of Play in Lower Mass.

The 47 Workshop has announced that the competitions for settings and costumes for "Pastora Impera", a play in three acts, which was to have closed tomorrow, has been extended and will not end until next Wednesday, December 7.

At the office of 47 Workshop, in Lower Massachusetts Hall, several copies of the play are available and can be read there by any one desiring to enter the competition. All competitors, however, may procure at the office typewritten copies of the description of costumes and settings as they appear in the book of the play.

Any competitor desiring additional information, either on the play itself or upon questions of costumes or sets, by applying at the Workshop office, can arrange a personal conference, either with Miss Gertrude Thurber, who wrote the play, or with Mr. H. H. Hunt, one of the artistic directors of the Workshop productions.

Ideas for the settings may be either in the form of models or designs; contestants a may submit designs for both settings and costumes; or two competitors may work in collaboration--one on the settings, the other on the costumes. The limitations of the Agassiz House Theatre must be observed.

The winner of this competition will gain a place on the Workshop company and will help design the settings for the Workshop's winter production.
